Project Info

Sometimes we aren’t the main event. APQC, a business services company, owns a sculpture made of stacked papers with important writings. The client wanted a mobile pedestal that included a plaque with an engraved description of the piece.

It was important that the pedestal was unique but not overpowering. We designed a mobile, stainless steel and acrylic box that could be rolled away during public events.
Every part of this pedestal was carefully considered. The casters were selected for both their ability to roll smoothly as well as their artistic flare. Even the stainless steel  screws were custom “blued” using a torch to echo the navy blue walls in this gallery space.  It is at its essence, an almost invisible jewel box.
