Corporate Client

Project Info

A fun client makes for a fun project! When Ziegler Cooper Architects showed us the plans for this confidential corporate client, we knew right away we wanted to be part of the team.

The end user office manager was incredibly hands on; spending hours of her own time working on the design elements and accessories.   In many ways this was a challenge because the goal posts were always moving but we kept our pencils sharpened and rose to every occasion.

The elevator lobby signage is what we were initially commissioned to design.   We created powdercoated steel pieces which were waterjet cut into the tree shape (company logo).  Next we asked Post Studio to collaborate on the etched acrylic backplate which served as a mounting surface for the steel.  Lastly we added LED lighting.  When we lit it up for the first time in that elevator lobby, there was a chorus of “ahhhhh’s”.  It is just really unique and unusual.
We ultimately completed four separate projects for the space: the LED lit logo signage in the elevator lobby, the (8) magnetic steel work tables in the war room and two dining tables in the perfectly curated breakroom.
The elevator lobby signage was our starting point, and the first piece designed for this client.
