Ever see fiber optic cable art?

February 1, 2022

A note from Mrs. FabLab,

Have you ever put off doing something for so long that you start to overthink it? And then you start to stress about not doing it? And then it just becomes a vicious cycle?  Well that’s exactly how I have been feeling about this newsletter. We are a small team and the world has been a particular challenge the last 2+ years. Simply stated, I fell behind.  Occasionally I would try to get a newsletter created and then I would start overthinking it because it had been so long. Every time I sat down to fill you in on what cool stuff we’ve been doing, I just couldn’t find the words. So I would put it off again and again.  Before I knew it, a year had gone by.

Well, I’m back and I’m going to pretend that year-long wall of newsletter silence never happened and just act like we’ve stayed in contact all of this time.   Please just play along!  Despite my newsletter sagas, I’m quite proud to share what we have been up to and in this brand new format.  You can pick and choose what interests you to “read more”.  I may be biased, but I recommend reading it all.

We receive a lot of questions regarding the time duration of custom work, so we are going to start sharing the timeline and major milestones of a completed project each month.  This first one was flawless! We’ll also be highlighting a member of our team for the next few months and some sneak peeks at what we’re working on right now.

Enjoy and shoot me a message if there’s something in particular you would like to see in newsletters going forward.

XOXO,

Mrs. FabLab

We receive a lot of questions regarding the duration of custom work, so this month we are sharing the major milestones of a few different projects.  While each client we work with is unique, this project is a good indicator of timing from start to finish for a small but complex corporate commercial project.

Meet the team

Russell Lee, Shop Foreman
In 2021, we were thrilled to welcome back two of our former team members and are very excited about what they will bring to the table this year. But this month we are spotlighting someone you are probably very familiar with if you have done any work with us in the last four years. He’s the glue that keeps us all going.
