A note from Mrs. FabLab,
Happy Spring, Friends!
It's crazy that we're already halfway through March. We've been busy installing new work at Texas A&M. You can see some of it in one of the links to the right and we will share more next month. We also have some pretty exciting corporate and hospitality clients right now. Honestly, there are days when I think about the business we built - grassroots - and just can't believe who we get to work with now.
Speaking of business-building, I'm pretty excited to share this just-published chat I had with CanvasRebel. I got to discuss the business part of running a company and it's one of my most favorite things to talk about. Prior to FMW|FabLab, I didn't know how good I would actually be at that part. I've always been creative. I was a registered interior designer for almost 20 years before this role. But to run a business....well, if you know, you know. It's an entirely different animal and I'm really proud that I got to share my experience. It's not everyday that someone calls me brilliant in the opening line of an article and they made me sound so much cooler than I really am. I also got to tell the story of how I met Mr. FabLab. Check it out here.
XOXO,
Mrs. FabLab

We receive a lot of questions regarding the duration of custom work. Last month we shared a project that took about six months from the first discussion to the completed installation. This month, we are highlighting a multi-floor corporate project that took two full years. And the finished products were well worth it! Don't miss the project gallery at the bottom of the article.

A Cinderella Story
One of our favorite parts of our work is seeing a pile of raw materials turn into something amazing. Any guesses what this becomes? Click to see the final product. READ MORE
In 2021, we were thrilled to welcome back our wood lead. Meet Eric Gonzalez! He previously worked with us in 2018-2019 and has been so missed.
