Metalworking classes are back for the summer! 😎

March 18, 2020

Hi Friend,

It's been awhile since we sent a newsletter.  We've been brainstorming on new content ideas to make it something of value before we send a message that just clutters your inbox.  But now, we are reaching out to wish everyone a safe, healthy season of social distancing and offer something we hope is a win-win for both of us.

There are some downsides to social distancing; specifically to the economic health of small businesses, ours included.   We are taking the opportunity to come up with ideas to keep our crew and bills paid while we are sorting this out.

We get weekly messages and emails from you guys about metalworking workshops, always with the question "when are you doing them again?"  Well, here's the answer!    We are going to sell vouchers right now for six-hour Saturday classes this summer.   Dates are TBD and will be arranged and communicated once the fog clears.  You will have options. To be clear, we are selling them now to continue operations as normally as possible.

Our class always includes a brief discussion, demonstrations and hands-on welding and fabrication.  Students must be over 18 years of age and will be required to sign a liability waiver.   The class will be $200 per person on a Saturday and will include a box lunch. If this doesn't sound like something for you, perhaps you could gift someone a class. We can provide custom gift certificates.

All safety gear for class will be provided including helmets and welding jackets.  Students will need to provide their own closed/hard toe shoes and long durable pants.

We accept six students per class and are planning for 4 classes right now, which totals 24 people.  If you would like to purchase a voucher, respond to this email with your name, preferred email address and age.   You will receive an invoice and you will have 24 hours to pay the invoice before your spot will be released to someone on the waiting list.

We're winging it here guys so please be courteous and compassionate if we can't answer all of your questions. This is something we hope will be a spark of joy for you and a way for us to keep our folks gainfully employed during this uncertain time. Also, please overlook any typos.  This was put together pretty quickly so we could get it out to you as soon as possible.

With everyone's efforts to put the health of the whole above the convenience of the individual, maintain a positive outlook and support your neighbors in any way possible, we can absolutely overcome this obstacle. Thank you for doing your part and thank you for supporting small business.

Sincerely,
Hillary & Ford

By the way, are you following us on Instagram and Facebook? Aren't we friends?

For both commercial and residential projects, we have an online catalog with lots of our "quick ship" and most budget friendly options for you to order directly when those needs arise.  Designers, you can use these as a jumping off point or even a good way to budget.  We even have some of the catalog products displayed in our dealer partner showrooms if you'd like to see them in person.
Thank YOU for being part of our community.  We are eternally grateful to everyone who has supported us over the past seven years and continues to do so.
